Paperclip appoints Holly Farrell as Office Manager
Against very strong opposition, Holly Farrell has been appointed as Paperclip’s new Office Manager. Paperclip provides appointment and reservation booking services and telephone answering for organisations across the UK.
Holly previously worked as Administration Team Leader for ECA, a leading national provider of independent energy cost advice:
“I joined ECA straight from school and, over fourteen years, worked my way up the organisation to become a member of the management team. My role involved work allocation, induction training and all aspects of HR.”
Paperclip Office Manager
As Paperclip Office Manager, Holly will have the opportunity to flex and develop her people skills as well as being responsible for business-critical activities like invoicing and payroll.
‘My immediate goal is to understand Paperclip’s business in-depth, particularly workload planning. Personal organisation is one of my strengths and I will be looking to review and refine work procedures and processes. I will be working with Anne Batty (Managing Director) and the team to make sure we get the most from Paperclip’s investment in telecoms and software.’
Outside work Holly has walked over hot coals four times to help raise funds for PHASE Worldwide, a charity that supports health and education programmes for remote communities in Nepal (phaseworldwide.org). She has, however, drawn the line at walking over broken glass!
